Describe your values and how they inform your career.
Throughout my career, I’ve discovered that Humility, Integrity, Discipline, Attitude and Self-image are major keys to achievement. With Humility, you focus on “we” not “I”. With Integrity, you do what is right, period. With Discipline, you push yourself a little more. With a positive Attitude, you find solutions, not problems. With a good Self-image, you realize that your opinion about yourself outweights that of the naysayers.
Why do you do what you do?
I do what I do for the simple reason that I get to take part of someone’s growth and development. I love stirring the potential in them so that they can further discover their capabilities and enventually push past their limiting beliefs. I believe that we are made for advancement and improvement and being able to help a player bridge the gap between “I can’t” to “I did” brings me excitement, satisfaction and joy.
What makes your contribution different than others?
What sets me apart form others is that I use the medium of the sport that I so deeply love to teach life lessons and principles. We are driven by a society that focuses on instant gratification and immediate results. We praise successes and scorn at failures withouth teaching the youth of our generation how to shorten the gap between the two. In my opinion, Success is the result of small incremental steps driven by desire, persistence and belief. And it is with that definition in mind that I base the majority of my trainings, programs and practices.
What gets you up in the morning?
My desire for self-improvement, my yearning to impact people, my thirst for knowledge, and my deeply rooted passion to teach acquired life-lessons/principles.
